has anyone heard from long john lately?

i last saw him in a jazz club in southern california about 3 years ago. he told me that he was working on a new album. i haven't seen or heard anything about since.

YO Long John Lives in LA and has been doing sessions and "Background" work in movies,as an instrumentalist. I knew John when I lived in La, great player and "Nice" hands......JC JOHNNY CONGA....

Long John Oliva was part of Jane Bunnett's "Chamalongo" US tour, like two years ago. He did perform along with his dad, the famous Pancho Quinto, the very talented Lucumí, and singer Ernesto " El Gato" Gatel.
