Jimmy we had 2 mutual friends,and it blew me away to see them on your site in the photo section...One is "Papo Conga", we knew each other from NY but we hung in L.A. when I was living there and we jammed it out many times, before his demise. A great Rumbero!. The other is my soul brother "Eddie Bongo". We hung in Miami, when I was living there from 86 to 2001. Another GREAT player!.....it was nice to see them again, Thanks!....."JC" Johnny Conga.....

Hi Jorge and Johnny!
Nice pics in article on Giovanni... I wish there was an English translation so I could read it, but it's good inspiration to try and learn Spanish better! I went off-topic in the Samuel Torres thread (open discussion) and wrote of an experience I had with Giovanni... later saw this thread and realized I should have posted it here. Anyway I hope you all are doing fine and I am lucky to be able to check out this wonderful forum.
