Funky Bell "thing" Anyone ever seen one?

I know this has nothing to do with congas, but I just picked this bell tree up at an antique store for $20. Couldn't resist for $20. The bells are all brass and are tuned. Don't know what I'm gonna do with it. It's about 2 ft. wide and 20" tall. I was wondering if anyone has ever seen anythng like it.

You might be able to play Indonesian Gamelan influenced music with them. There are numerous YouTube videos to watch, there might be something there that interests you.

The bells look like a 2 octave set. It is arranged with the # & b in the inside and the natural tones on the outside.

Very cool lookin' set.
