Advice on soft case/bag for conga - LP vs. JP?

Let's talk about what can be found around that worth having..

Anyone have experience with softcases for congas? My conga is gonna ride to California in July on the top of my car, straddling my Yakima rack. I'll loosen the head near to falling off, bag my conga, and strap it into a couple U-shaped yokes that I've fashioned for my rack - maybe wrap some extra foam-padding around it, too. However, don't ever suspect I will use the soft case for air travel.

So I want to purchase a conga bag, a soft one rather than a hard case since I want to minimize it's cross-sectional area in relation to the wind, putting bottom forward. Looks like my obvious choices are LP-Giovanni or JPs. Anyone know what JPs are like? Are they better than LP bags/cases?

Any advise will be greatly appreciated.

Best Regards,
Willie E. :D
