Caught them last month in Wilmington, DE. Despite a venue that was accoustically dismal, they were a treat for someone who'd never seen plena played live. Absolutley infectious! Made me want to run out and buy a pandera immediately.

Hi Congatick,

Glad you like it! By the way, it's pandero not pandera. If you like the Plena contemporary sound, make sure and check out stuff by Plenéalo, Viento de Agua, and Truco y Zaperoko. All contemporary Plena groups.

Saludos,

Jorge Ginorio

Thanks for the 'pandero' correction, and sincerely appreciate the recommendation for contemporary plena sounds. This forum and its members are a great source of comfort, fun, information and point of reference for a student whose been "learning" since before I was a 'grandpa'.
