Hi Cubop, hope all is well. Very nice art work! Check out Susan Matthews art work gallery at:

Susan's art work is mainly based on Afrocuban Folkloric traditions.

I wish to make my practice area in the house into a mini-art gallery and these sites offer art that interests me. I also want to display photos, posters, autographed material, etc. I find inspiration in all this media. My brother actually purchased art from the obedart site and it's real nice once you frame it up and hang it in your house.

That's a great idea! I don't have a room to dedicate for practice area, but I think that my friends are not harmed by seeing a few inspiring paintings

Check also http://www.art.com. I searched it with phrases like bongo, conga, music, latino, and so on... and encountered very often paintings by "Gockel, Alfred". He seems to have lot's of fine artwork with musical theme:

Hey art lovers,
Check out some of my artwork, let me know what you think. It is definately music themed, and I've been into drawing and painting "afro-cuban" portraits as of late. The site is http://www.jerryjazzmusician.com/mainHTML.cfm?page=theomoore.html

peace,

Really nice, Theo!

I don't think I mentioned it before, but I love the music of Urban Sun too. Great Funk!

Here's a couple of song and dance related pieces by my better half:

Peace!

Beautiful stuff, I love the color...great moods. I'll check into her website. Thanks for checking out the music, glad you dug it. It's always a plus, the independent band scene here in NYC is tough, but exciting.

Peace,

Theo

SkinDeep,

Your welcome!

Susan Matthews is from Oakland, California.

Thanks for the link on Antonio Brocoli Porto. Actually, I did get some of his Bomba & Plena posters this past December while on the island.
