The sound on these bata cajons is incredible. Very realistic sounding.

Before I decided to purchase from Valter, I wanted to get reviews and comparisons with other bata cajons on the market. What do other people think?

I've played on a set of the Gon Bops Bata Cajons a couple of times. They sound really good. Well made.
I think they are cool because they are made round.

I saw this guy's bata cajons on sale on Etsy for $350.00 ALL THREE!

But...Valter percussion's bata cajons are quite frankly, amazing. it's mostly for use in a school setting. I have my Sonoc Aberikula for my professional performances....but...I wanted to get the most "bang" for my buck. And I wanted to go with a bata cajon because they will be handled by middle school kids that might not be so careful with a real Bata. I think they would get a kick out of the polyrhythmical sounds of batas...

That's the listing for the sale.

Valters batajones are fantastic. We have a set at home and they sound great. They are effortless to get a great sounding tone or slap from, I couldn't recommend them enough. I realise all the previous post's are old news but I just thought I would post this in case anyone else stumbles across it with the same question.

Like firebrand, I use the cajones for teaching mainly, as they are light, durable and easy for kids and beginners to get a good sound from, with no need to tune, however when at home we always use our aberikula, as nothing could compare to the sound.

Also, check out Valter's other products, the man is a genius.
