Bummer, I went there, but it doesn't exist.
Also, the batarumba page is down.

Our group is now playing some bata rumbas because a few of the guys are learning bata. They're very quiet, but a new exciting sound is now coming forth.

Hi I am Pili of ISLA PERCUSSIONS. I am a newby to this post and I would like to inform all in the family of hand percussion about a wonderful phenomenon happening at ISLA. My brother Mario and I are timberos and we have a passion and desire to keeping the flame burning concerning the production of authentic sounding handcrafted Conga and Bata drums. I am posting a picture of the Bata set that will be on its way to the Afro-cuban workshop @ Humbolt State University which starts this coming weekend.

To Mr. David PeƱalosa we've never met, but I look forward to meeting you in person. In my opinion you've done an amazing job in keeping the world informed about the AfrocaribeƱo Diaspora.

I want to Thank You in advance for all your efforts.
