Hi. Terry Gibbs has a cd with Tito Puente (The Latin Connection)where they play a latin version of "Sing, Sing Sing" with complete latin rhythm section. Also, TP covered "Take Five" on one of his early concord picante recordings in the mid 80's. :D

I know more than one verion of tito's take five,
there is also a version in 4/4 (very strange)My Webpage (dutch)

I think sepia is brown, as in those sepia photographs from days gone by. (black and white that is actually brown and white.)

If you really want to hear some "Jazz" congas check out Percy James with the old group "Quartet Tres Bien", a Jazz quartet from the late 50's early 60's. I think you will find them on the old "Liberty" label. This brother played 3 congas and bongos at the same time and had a style all his own. Just another unknown great conga drummer.....At your Service.. JC JOHNNY CONGA.... ;)

Roberto Roena on one of his first albums has an incredible arrangement of "Take 5".......... ;) JC JOHNNY CONGA...
