Keldin,

I am not sure where you are, (Country). Curious. You can google your favorite percussionist's websites. Sometimes they have links that can lead you to the info you need. Also, google.com is great for conga topics. That is how I found my home here at Conga Place. Lastly, as you surf Conga Place.com, conguero's such as Johnny Conga and Abu are great resources.

God Bless,

David

Hey Keldin,

Check out http://www.pandeiro.com for some great video clips of the masters.
I am also studying Brasilian rhythms and percussion with some hot Brasilian players on the London scene, important for a percussionist to have more than one string ( a musical pun??)

Good luck in your journey

Hello Diceman!
Have you been playing/studying with Mestre Esteves? I think he is living in London nowadays. He used to be the Mestre da Bateria of Estácio de Sá. Some years ago I had the chance to study and play with him and it was a very good experience.
