Hey guys, sounds like things are going really well. I am happy that I could help out even if it was in just a small way. Thomas I am glad you could use that conga part, change it up and use it how it fits best. I am going to be thinking about playing reggae on the beach all day now!

I play in reggaeband with two percussionist and a drummer. I handle timbales, bells, tambourines, cabasa, etc. the other percussionist is on congas. What i find most important in reggae is the space - play a one-bar bell pattern, pause, maybe accent on woodblocks, and so on. Really try to play a long sequence of little parts with lots of space in between. We're recording a new album soon, I'll let you know when it's out :)
