On Giovanni's "Conga Virtuoso" DVD in the Chapter titled "Three Congas" at 16:38"-17:12" Gio refers to this as "phrase patterns". Is this a pattern that some here play?

Can someone post the notation and/or thoughts about this?

Heres the notated translation.
I use it at times, when the tune is open-not exactly like the "Patato version" ,or a somewhat reversed comp on the mambo section.

Gio really kicks in with "his " version @ 20:00 or so.

Hola Roka from Lithuania!
I sampled Gio's Congas Virtuoso book that was
included with the VHS-tape. I got this along time ago, when it first came out. The DVD does not have the book?

No problem Mike.
Odd that the newer version (DVD) does not have the written out booklet. Maybe the cost difference?
I'll try to upload Gio's version too.

Hello everyone,

The dvd DOES come with the book. I purchased the dvd about two years ago.
