At last!

Postby debbie » Sun Jan 18, 2009 12:42 pm

i've been dabbling in playing congas for a few years now, lessons, intermittent periods of practice etc but never moving forward, never progressing, never having confidence to play or even practice when other people are around and now finally i have found a group of people to play with! we play together 2 or 3 or sometimes more times a week, everyone about the same level, and it's great!! i feel more confident each time and learning so much about music and interacting with other musicians. altho a lot of the music isnt to my personal taste it's great practice to find what rhythms i can play to what. and of course it's such a buzz to hear my beautiful mariano gon bops played out of my home! they sound gorgeous.
anyway thanks for listening!
