Hey,
I saw someone post a link for an online metronome and was wondering if anyone knew of any online links that you can get various claves?
Especialy the 6/8 short bell pattern.
I tried practicing w/ a metronome and it's not fun. Even though most bell samples are corny , they at least are what you are playing against in a live setting.
Thanks

Yeah there are some mp3 downloads on Mike Gillachio web forum Conga club on Yahoo groups . you would have to join to get the Mp3`s though.

I use this...It comes with some generic 80's techno sounds and drum samples, but you can load any .wav sample you want into it. Sometimes I'll sample my drums and various percussion (bells claves) then load it in. or you can get free samples at www.findsounds.com. Whats cool is that it has a sequencer as well so you can program breaks etc...

I use Percussion studio and use the Campana to program in the 6/8 bell. You can then use the bpm slider to keep cranking it up.

I got a load programmed in at different tempo. I will try and convert them to mp3 and upload them to one of these upload/download sites.

Here is the Bembe bell patterm files from Percussion studio slowly building up the tempo. I also used the Shekere to mark the beat.

You did mention short bell. If you want the percussion format file for you to convert shoot me an message
