Tomas Cruz Conga method has Songo basico followed by 8 variations
Furthermore he also has 2 Songo Bota.

Full speed followed by nice and slow so you can build it up from there.

I'm on volume 1 in rudiment heaven and reworking my open slaps.

The plan was to work with Vol 1 & vol 2 at the same time - but I think me and Vol 1 will be locked in winters cabin till spring.

I used to hate rudiments and drills - but for some reason I'm kind of diggin it now.

Sorry - I highjacked that.

But I - to bring it back -Tomas and Vol 1 (from what I've seen) would be the real deal for Timba.

Alright, Burke, but if you stay with the percussion-oriented links, you shhould not be too disappointed.
That being said, there is a load of c... on youtube for sure.
