Vol 1 is really about fundamentals & rudiments but great. I still use it a lot. Vol 2 has many rhythms and more variations of songo than you can shake a stick at. Most ofr the rhythms are ones I’ve worked at from other books but his variations are often different and more intricate. I’m still working through Vol.2.
Vol 3 is all about timba. I’ll dip into it someday no doubt.

The three books are good.

You can skip the first one if you know the basics of conga playing.

Books and DVD 2 and 3 are just great.

I've been working on Vol. 1 and noticed that there are only 55 chapters on the DVD yet there are 90 listed in the book. :?

Does anyone know if there are supposed to be 2 DVD's with Vol. 1 ??????????????????

Thanks

Some patterns are not on the DVD. However the notation is fairly easy to follow.
