Here are a couple of links:
Larry Morris' rhythm digest from the djembe-l faq list:

This catalog has many rhythms, but it has two versions of Comparsa, one for one player and one for four or five.
Latinperc mailing list

This site allows you to search the last few years of posts and questions. There is some comparsa in there, I know, but you have to find it. Just click the "here" link about halfway down the page to search. I also highly recommend subscribing to this mailing list.
Hope this helps. that's all I can think of right now, but I'll try to remember where I've gotten rhythms in the past and let you know.
and here is one of my own (for one player):
(you'll need to copy this exactly as is and change it to courier font in a word processor so everything lines up right)
capitals = right hand
b,B = bass
s,S = slap (closed slap except at fast tempos)
o,O = open tone
t,T = light touch
. = rest
Count 1+2+3+4+1+2+3+4+
Conga .tSsTtOoTtSs..oo.
Tumba O...........O.O.
I couldn't render the accents, but obviously the slaps and tones, particularly on the tumba, are the accents here.
I must give credit to this version to Gabo. Hope eveything lines up alright. If you have any questions, email me at
