This guy is Flash city! But I wasn't feeling his conga technique. Very light...no clear defienition between sounds...But i sure as heck can't do any of those tricks

But with all respect, that is more a circus show than anything else.
This video has been discussed here before if I am not wrong.
Flashy stuff, but not very appealing musically in my opinion.

Yes of course it is showmanship, and it should be judged on what it is, not what you'd rather it were.
It is entertaining and flashy and innovative and fun, and accessible to a wide audience.
I suspect he could hold his own in a comparsa too.

This guy couldn't hold his own in any comparsa de conga I've ever heard.. It's a circus act with no soul or folklore , It's baseless, and the dude doesn't
even hit the drum right.. I don't want to sound mean , but wtf?
Imagine him trying to sit down at a Rumba in the park? They'd stab him .. lol
