If any of you raw hide lovers (or synthetic too) can tell me the best way to set up (position) for 3 congas (quinto,conga and tumbadora)

I like to set up my "tumbadoras" in the following manner:




Lowest
Medium
Highest

The idea is to have the lowest pitch "tumbadora" in front of the higest pitch one as close as possible.

Hi guys the way Ray B sets up is the more typical way of setting up if you want to play on both sides-Left-right in your playing. Unlike Poncho who plays with 3 to his right. Which is the way I started out back in 66. But band leaders back then wouldn't allow drummers to play with 3 congas they said it was too much back then. I was playing three across before a lot of cats were in NYC,back in the sixties. I can now play up to 6-7 congas if I want to 3 to my left 3 to my right and one in the middle kinda in a V form... At your Service..JC JOHNNY CONGA...I prefer 4 congas, for melodic purposes,somtimes 5.
