GLUE over tape

Postby MikeLP » Wed Jun 06, 2012 12:51 am

Wuts up guys just wanted to see what you thought about elmers glue on finger tips. Ive been taping my fingers for years and felt like i was wasting time..heres why.
after i learned how to hit the drum properly i wasnt doing damage banging the bone anymore so i didnt need extra padding from the couple wraps of tape.
The only damage i get now is those thin slices between the ridges of the fingerprint. So i tried using elmers glue somewhat liberally where i get those splits and from there spread some around like a little extra layer of skin. While it dries i do my 10-20-30 minutes of air stretches and warm up exercises but it dries in about five. If the glue comes off then try putting a little more around the tip of the finger and nail to support keeping it down.
