Santana LP Aspires - need advice

hi...i am a recreational player....have had wooden congas for years that need to be replaced (took abuse in college).....any experience with the Aspire series?.....(i like the Santana models).......a local dealer says they are so poor he won't even carry them.....i'm surprised LP would make such poor quality.....appreciate any feedback...

My recommendation here is PEARL PRIMERO PRO....Now with new finishes....Much better congas than LP Aspires that despite their Santana look..their hardware is not that good and the heads worst....Budget wise??? Pearl Primero's are priced the same or lower (in some places they will throw free bongos...).

Sorry about the plug but that is recommendation!
