Can anyone tell me if they've used Gibraltar GCS-M , GCS-L stands?
I don't doubt their durability but my question is which one to use for a Pearl Elite 11.75"conga. Some websites say the GCS-M fits 11" - 11.75". Others say you need the larger GCS-L for an 11.75" conga. Gibraltar's website does not specify. Does anyone know?

Thanks

I use the Gibraltar stands and have the GCS-M on the conga (11.75). I use the GCS-L on the tumba. I enjoy these stands as they do hold up well and should come with 2 sets of legs. The short ones are great for seated playing. I suggest a bag to put the legs in when transporting to gigs, the hoops just throw in anywhere. Once I had them set where I want them I marked the legs with a marker where they insert into the hoops with a line and either Q,C,T for which drum it is for. Makes set up a lot quicker.

I thought I would add that when I bought them I used LP Matadors and now I use LP Galaxy congas which are a bit narrower then other models. The stands worked well for both.
