I would like to restore (strip, repair, and paint) my set of wood Meinl congas.
Does anyone have any referrals (names / shops/ numbers) in the Bay Area (San Francisco / Oakland) that would be able to perform this task with a good reputation. Thanks in advance.....

I saw an add for someone that restores congas on
craigslist a while back for the Bay Area, i recommend
checking there in the musical instruments section...

but any decent carpenter, painter or furniture guy could probably
do it, wood is wood.

...but if it's at all possible, you might consider doing it yourself,
its not too hard, and there is plenty of advice avilable here...
