BTW, how did you learn how to speak some Filipino (Tagalog) words? I'm quite curious.

I lived in the Philippines for 15 years, from 1965 to '73, and went back from '81 -'83. Married (and divorced from 2 Pinays. Worked as a writer/director based out of Manila. Lived in Cubao mostly, but spent a a couple years prior in Olongapo (Yes, that Olongapo). Been all over the islands from Tagum in Mindanao to Batanaes, from Bohol to Capiz. Spoke fluent Tagalog, but with lack of use (on my third, non-Filipina wife) the spoken vocabulary and language memory have diminished.
