The one on the right, fiberglass, is a King Conga, from San Francisco circa 1971/72. I'll buy if you want to sell.
Dario :D

Enclosed see my kings.

I've had two drums just like the one on the right, one was a wood drum covered in fiberglass, had a white and red patern on it, the other was just like the one you have, black and solid fiberglass, cool sounding, don't have either of them anymore.

The one on the left looks to be mexican, with its cast side plates, the built in stand, and it looks to be fir. (soft?)

but it kind of looks like an early Volcano, with the side plates turned around... the nuts, crown and lugs dont look all that mexican to me. Its hard to see, does it have original phillips head bolts on it?

Yeah, the real interesting thing about it is the drum is actually a wood conga that someone fiberglassed over. It would be really cool to figure out what it originally was! Obviously the hardware is the same as the king congas. My good buddy (who is a guitar player) still has the drum. One of these days I will coerce it from him!
