Is that the Patato model or LP Original? I don't know a lot about the models from the 80's

It is a LP Patato

When did they start putting on the Patato badge?

This was before they changed the patato badge. This drum has been discontinued since the end of 80's. If you email LP I am sure they would give you definite answer.
