Best way to sand congas

Just let you know that the project is up and running and Brazillian Cedar dust is in the air! Decided to strip the varnish and as Oslongo said there isn't a great deal of laquer on the drum so it comes off quite easily, and I'm sanding by hand with a 150 grit to start with.

looking forward to showing them when they are finished!!!
