Matador Fiberglass

Anybody have them, played them? Am thinking of switching over from wood, and the Matadors are priced reasonably enough for me to put on some Remo SynDeep heads? Comments? Advice?

The Matador fiberglass has always intrigued me as well because of their price.

Hi congatick,
I've only played old model Matadors from about 15 - 20 years ago and they always sounded beautiful. I thought those old Matadors always had a special sound. I don't know if current models have maintained that sonority.
