taylor made size rim

Here is what i'm trying :

Make a taylor made size rim (the rim inside) without having the instrument, only the measure.

A guy ask me a special rim but we are not neighbour and it's difficult to send me the drum. He just tell me precise measurment (32 cm).

I recreate the rim with chalk and make the inside rim a little bit larger.

I will inform you if it's a success !!!

OK looks like I'm going to be reviving a lot of old post with my build.
How do you bend the rings? I'm building mine from scratch and I'm trying to figure out how to make a smooth bend.
