Gibralter Stand's

Well yesterday we had our Labor day party bbq rehearsal in my back yard. So i just got done refurbishing my old Gon Bop's and decided to use the Gibraltar stand's. I had some friend's play on them while i was going around greeting friend's and guest . When i came back to play i notice the conga sank down in the basket and was rubbing on the metal stand and scratch the new finish i put on. Now these are my new gig congas cause i knew they would get a little scratch but not that much. I'm glad i didnt bust out the Junior's cause i know would have been pissed if that would of happen to them. Yes i can refinished them. I didn't realize that the wing nut's had a bolt on it so you can tighten them with the same wrench that you use on the conga's. One thing for sure the conga player's like the Gon Bop's with that Bill Confer head's but i wont take out those Junior's cause i don't think they will get respected.
