LP Jose Madera signature series Congas

Looking for a bit of info on these drums, basically wanted to know if they are simply 'dressed up' Classics. And not sub standard of the Classic model.

Its that time again, and through my deal with LP I'll be trading up my drums for replacements. I wanted something different, those who play LP here have Gio Galaxy, Classic, Palladium, Eddie Montalvo sig. series,etc plus Patato etc however for me, fiberglass just aint an option.
I've gone through Classics, Palladiums, Galaxy's, etc through my years with them,
So I was thinking of the Jose Madera series. Can anyone confirm that they are simply Classic model with a splash of paint swirl?

Thanks for the info, just as I thought. All good then. Out of all the LP Lines for congas, the Classics are my favourite drum to play on.
Was just as I thought, I couldnt see any difference in the spec's off LP's site for the Classic & the Jose Madera model. Now to try and find the traditional rims I have stored away somewhere...

Congrats on the project with LP. Make sure to post some pics once you're given the clearance.
