Saludos :)
Thought Id drop in to share some updates :) Been a while between posts, its been a very busy last few weeks.
So another lot of gear came in, Im loving these drums, workmanship and finish is excellent, very solid hardware, incredible projection, excellent tones, everything is so clear. The base tones are massive, open tones project beautifully, slaps are crisp and sharp, harmonics are effortless, I dont have a single bad thing to say about these. Sure they do weigh a bit, however the bump in/out to gigs here are a breeze, with trolleys and elevators for 99% of gigs as well as being able to pull out and park out the front of most places if not straight in through the loading dock/stage door. The bags/cases are very well put together, excellent padding and super easy to carry, straps are very strong and the stitch work is first class.
With these new series Floatunes, I opted for 1 x 11", 2 x 12", 1 x 13"
Third package arrives in a couple of weeks, exciting times! :D

looks fantastic!
now if only Mienl made a short stand for my timbales so I could integrate them properly into my kit!! I have one set up in a snare stand that works well, but the stand I have isn't the best design.

Hi ABAKUA!

Congratulations on your endorsement.
I just got a Woodcraft quinto the zebra finish, beautiful i like the matte instead of the shiny and kinda pale gio galaxies.
but im in a mental conflict !! haha those that usually money will fix it. but maybe you have a recommendation to fix my problem.
I got the woodcraft thinking of getting the other 2 to complete the trio, but I also checked the professional series at the store and could be a nice and cheaper option.

Have you tried the professionals? should i return the woodcraft and get all professionals? or should i buy the woodcrafts one by one?
this is the moment where i need help to decide :) (before i spend the money)

Thank you!

Hi Andres,
Thank you.

Congrats on the purchase of the zebra finish Woodcraft. The Woodcraft series are their flagship model, and also priced more expensive that all the other series they have.
They are the only model that offers the traditional chrome hardware, along with traditional style shape (belly centred). If you can afford it, I recommend you getting the others as you can.

If money is an issue, the professional series are the higher end of their intermediate series drums. Still a great drum though. A friend of mine has a set of 2 of them, they sound good, but not as good as the Woodcrafts. But this is all a matter of technique, taste in sound etc, I prefer the sound of the Woodcrafts, but there is nothing wrong with the Professional series, just a different sound.
