I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say they remind me of drums from South America, like from Columbia or possibly even Mexican. Looking at the "brackets", that isn't any style from the U.S., being used. The lower belly is similar to the old Valje congas circa 60's. That is probabaly when those were made. Also the band is at the lowest part of the belly, which is also not common style from the U.S. So I would go with Columbia or Mexico. Maybe, maybe Argentina....."JC" Johnny Conga... :;):
Looking at them again my memory is reminding me of a Mexican brand conga called "Zim-Gar", which were my first congas , but wooden, but I do remember them also making a fiberglass model, that I kinda remember seeing in the 60's, in NYcity...."JC" Johnny Conga...
I agree with JC. Those congas are very similar to COLOMBIAN made congas. I'm not sure of the brand, but they definitely look like the ones that I can get around here.
ps. By the way, JC it's Colombia and not Columbia.
