New head for Meinl Marathon Classic - Pre-mounted or flat skin?

Greetings from Austin, TX! I was thinking about putting a muleskin head on my 11 3/4" conga. I've seen instructions for mounting a flat skin on a drum with a traditional rim. It doesn't look too difficult. Is the process different for a comfort curve rim? Does anyone know if a head that was premounted to fit an 11 3/4" LP comfort curve rim will fit the Meinl? Thanks!

OK, since no one responded, I was able to get the info on my own. The way the comfort rim fits over the head does not make it any more difficult to mount a flat skin. A premounted skin for the same sized LP drum is not compatible. Maybe somebody will find the info useful.
