Very nice drums.

I want to post a pic of my drums too. You will recognize a LP Patato quinto and you will not recognize the conga and tumba.

Let's make a quiz.

A few hints. These are top of the line quality drums, fiber and extremely good quality hardware (better than any well known brands). The perfectly fit the sound of the quinto.

Are they Royce by any chance?

Good try, but they are not.

Anybody else want to find out?
I am just playing this game because these drums are just awesome and the quality is incredible, and yet, this brand is not known.

The "FP" (Finnish Percussion) badge on the side of the drums is clearly visible in the photo (and CP-member korman already ID'd these). Not so well known, at least in the US, but I've heard good things about the company.

We have a winner!!!

and not blind.

Yes, they are just great. The only problem is that they stopped the production and then decided to start again... but I guess they gave up.

I wanted to get an endorsement with them, but they stay mute.

Yes, but is price an issue when you get top quality?

Plus, there are a few second hand...

I bought the full set (2 FP plus the Patato quinto) for 250 euros.......

Abure Ozrivera,
I have ordered and received my bumpercs from Michel and I must tell you that they are "not" attached to the side plate, they are hard rubber surrounding a washer that fits on the tension rod just above the nut.

Saludos Hermanos

Onile: i didnt realize the moperc bumperc came off. i made that assumption after taking my moperc heads off and never seeing the bumperc system fall to ground. i just figured they were crimped or something like that. but thanks for the info...

A couple of Gon Bops quintos, I restored the dark and the other one is my friends, I put a new skin
on that one.
I ended up selling the dark one to a great guy in Florida, and it financed that Gon Bops conga I bought
from Will (thebreeze).
All great drums.
