i did spent a number of years in jamaica and had the honor of taking part in quite e few nyabingi session especially in "chinna" smith's yard in kingston.
for the lovers of the "rockers" movie chinna is to be seen there as the guitar player in the studio with kiddus i (his best friend and a regular in his yard) and gregory isaac in his live performance ...
do a search for "inna de yard" spelled so, on youtube

The song Kiddus I sings in Rockers is one of my all time favorite reggae songs, the words are so powerful. I've seen and enjoyed the inna de yard sessions, great stuff, you are very blessed to have attended some.

I think we need to get a binghi group going through the forum, who's in the bay area ? I'm down.
