Posted: Wed Mar 06, 2002 5:49 amUntil recently the rawhide head on my quinto was uniformly deep in color, and translucent. After tightening it way, way up, it is mostly opaque and light-yellow.
Have you seen this happen when you had the drum tuned where you think it should be (rather than tuned way too high)?
