I wonder how many pounds (or Kg) of loosely packed feta cheese a typical conga will hold. Has anyone any idea? I'm curious, and this weekend I'm hosting a party for about 500, and I think I'll have just about enough crumbled feta to do the experiment (conga). Why don't we all make a guess, and next week I'll post the results? I believe this will be very instructive.

I dont think thats too good for the conga... or the feta for that matter...lol.

anyway , (how much does a cubic inch of feta way?), ill guess about, 77kg , (without the conga), its a good number.

best of luck trying to lift and weigh the drum with all the feta inside...lol :D

I think I got that, Jorge! Don't worry, I am one with my drum and would never fill it with cheese--well wait, I fill myself with cheese all the time. Okay, that's another story.

But it is, after all, just a man-made object, you know. No moleste, por favor!!! (sorry, that's about all the Spanish I know.) :D
