Despite best efforts, shlepping 3 congas to gigs means dings and scratches on my babies and I need to buy some protection. Interested in reasonably priced conga bags, possibly the LP542BK Fits All bag, but can't get any details on whether its padded or just a bag. It's priced under $50, which works with my limited budget. Any help/advice from forummers who have/use bags, in particular this one, or recommendations for others. (One option is to make my own from heavy, doubled quilted, comforter blankets, but would rather save the labor if the pros have suggestions on a worthwhile purchase)

There are *not* padded bags. The description says "non-padded carrying bag". Check out the link below

Protection Racket do some pretty good padded bags and reasonably priced - I paid 50GBP each bag - easily fits LP Classic tumba.

I also have some old army surplus kit bags - ok to use if the drums aren't going to roll around when they're transported, and probably a lot tougher than LP fit-all.
