I have a very rare collectible 9" LP requinto Patato model that LP made to conmemorate their 20th anniversary in 1984.It was made for two years and then it was retired (never made again). You don't see many of these around. Is the best soloing requinto ever made.Years later LP made a 9 3/4" requinto, but the 9" was never again made.I used to play rumba before on certain occasions, but is not happening anymore.
I've always enjoyed tarding better than selling,if anyone has something interesting to offer,I'm open.If not I'll sell it and will list it on Ebay.
Is in remarkable condition.Look at the pictures.

Is not that I don't want it,I just don't play that much rumba anymore nor do I play world music. What I do play is straight tumbao for salsa (afrocuban) music,so it hasn't been played for years. This requinto is the ultimate for soloing and for years I've been playing "marcha".
Is in incredible condition. Aguanile bonko'. Dario

Hola Jorge,

Cuba y P. Rico son..... No,the congas next to the LP Patato 9" requinto are my Skin on Skin. The 1st one is a very rare one Jay made out of birch wood (the only one he has ever made) the other two are made out of oak.The Iya bata is a Junior Tirado that I got from Junior, but it belonged to Milton Cardona.
Saludos, Dario

Cuba y P. Rico son..... de un pájaro las dos alas, reciben flores y balas en el mismo corazón!

I had always recognize Jay Bereck's drums by it's black hardware and belts. Certainly they look nice with chrome too.

Saludos,

Jorge Ginorio
