Posted: Sun Jul 01, 2007 10:07 pmI put a new head on it last night , which was a PITA. The lugs are short, I may have used some old Gon Bop bongo lugs from waaay back when.. The quinto is about 30 years old. It was being used as a flower stand :p
I cleaned up the hardware, it looks totally different. Before cleaning them up the chrome plating was really bad, you couldn't tell if it was chrome. The shell had a few cracks @ the bearing edge , whch took most of the time to fix.
can't wait for the skin to dry out.

I put them on back in the 70's when the original lugs were stripped, and I had no ther way of getting any lugs.
