Bros, I just picked this Gon Bop tumba body and part hardware, but I know that the rim is not a GB , cause I have an original GB tumba and the rim is different.
Can anyone take a guess as who is the maker of this rim?

Will be refurbishing this baby back to good health, will post pics later.

I believe it is a Gon Bops Rim. They made several models of drums and these can be seen on their "Deluxe Series" and "International Series" . I have the item pictures and descriptions and will email them to you since I have trouble posting pictures on here.

dayum.. I'm sure you got a good deal, doesn't appear to be any serious (edit he he)cracks. The hardware does need some serious work. GB's always crack at the stave joints-they must of used some crappy glue. But notice its where the hardware bolts go into the stave joints? for some reason the math reasoning its hard to avoid that, with six lug/ side plates its easier to miss the joints.

Yeah those are GB's

This was one of their earlier designs for the rim.

Yes, i agree with Isaac,

This is one of the earliest international rims made by gon bops. My guess is early 60's.

Have fun with the restore!!
