does anyone know of a pro who can mount some real skins on my lp galaxies in miami, fl?

i would love to get a decent sound out of these expensive drums, but i dont want to try mounting myself. it looks like a job for a pro, even though i know many on here will say it's not that difficult.

the handpicked lp skins that came on the drums are ok, i guess. but i have read over and over about how great thick mule skins sound, that i want to try it to find out.

it seems like someone could make some money offering this service, but ive never seen it offered anywhere. talk about a need going unfulfilled!

Chilledbongo, i am here in Tampa if you like send a Private e-mail with your number and I can take you through the steps, its really not that difficult ; you just have to go through the motions.

I do skin mounting all of the time, on congas , djembes , bongos, even the mica or x-ray film on the bongo macho.

I do it all the time with my congas and bongos, is not hard and I live in Miami. I don't have the time, but I have a friend who would do it for you and he is an expert. Email me privately for his number.

Hi there..

I suggest you mount your skins yourself just like a guitare player changes his strings.

With help from someone who knows how to do it, you'll be able to manage it.

I mount and also sell skins professionally.

Texas Bullhide, Canadian Cow, Puerto Rican cow, etc.
