TOCA - as a brand

Manufacturers, brands, skins, maintenance, stands, sticks, michrophones and other accessories for congueros can be discussed into this forum ...... leave your experience or express your doubts!

It's quite rare I read anything about TOCA here. Just LP and sometimes PEARL or MAINL :)
I wonder what's general oppinion regarding top-line TOCA products (Custom Deluxe) for example.

I've owned Players and aspires - they are equally poor drums. I suspect that would hold true all the way up the price scale with LP.

I know there are some comments on the Shelia E series (I seem to recall mostly positive).

I have seen theirs Bongos in local stores like Pure sound, they have a Bongó set retro style that I like but is kind of small. Yes indeed, there are not too many players down here who use Toca. Most of them ( Conga Players ) use other common mass produce stuff.

Approximately 102 players but you are right down here P.R. not too many under the 102 can be timbaleros , bongoseros,etc,etc, but them have some good models too. I thing Eric Velez Marc Anthony congero is one of them that using TOCA right now.Caballoballo cual es su opinión?

My favorite line of Toca congas are the traditional series. The only thing I don't like about them is that the collars on the skins are so low. Other then that they sound fine...(have a great bass tone actually!) I wouldn't mind owning a pair if I had an extra 500$ and a need for 2 more congas!
