SEISPOROCHO 1,

WHAT I USED WAS A DARK WALNUT (DANISH OIL) BY WATCO. IT IS APPLIED WITH A SPONGE. VERY EASY. THERE IS A SPECIAL CLEAR COAT THAT CAN BE APPLIED AS WELL. BUT, SINCE DANISH OIL IS A ONE STEP APPLICATION OF PENETRATING OIL STAIN WITH POLY, IT PROTECTS THE WOOD FROM THE INSIDE OUT. SO, SINCE I LIKE MORE OF AN OLD SCHOOL LOOK, I DID NOT APPLY THE CLEAR COAT. JUST SMOOTHED IT OUT WITH A FINE GRADE STEEL WOOL, AND JUST GO THROUGH THE DRUM EVERY NOW AND THEN WITH A LIGHT COAT OF OLIVE OIL, WHICH I ALSO LIGHTCOAT MY SKINS WITH, AS WELL. :D

THANKS,
