Hello all - I just bought some CP Congas that are all wood with a clear finish. I was wondering what the value of these are. It seemed like a good deal since I got them for $300 plus a set of new REMO skins. Any info or history on these would be cool.

I'd say $300 is just about right for those.

Hey, I'm also a guitarist new to congas. I have one CP 11" conga, an older one with the traditional rim, and I think it sounds very nice. It still has the original skin, but it is still in good shape.
