My make over progress...

Postby sancho27 » Sat Nov 15, 2008 6:52 pm

Well I'm making some headway now. I got my first coat of clear coat on now, & it really makes a difference. At least 4-5 coats on this will make it look how I want it to. Here are some pics showing before and after. I included a pic of the drum next to the 3 new ones I got so you can see how lucky I got finding a stain to match the new drums.

The stain is by MinWax -Bombay Mahogony, clear coat by MinWAx as well, their Polyeurethane. Thanks for the opinion!

I'm not sure what model it is. When I bought it from my friend no labels or anything else were on the drum. After taking off the head, I saw nothing written inside either. Man, this thing has tone! I put a Remo tucked Fiberskyn3 on it & WOW! Louder than the others!

Thank you. It kind of looks in the photo like they are fatter than the Giovanni's that I have.
