Isla congas

I haven't seen any posts about Isla drums here. Does anyone have thoughts or opinions on the drums? I'm pretty close to sealing the deal on a cherry set but would like some feedback.
I have a set of Gio's that I have been able to partially rescue from the corporate factory roots by putting some nice local cow skin on them (organically raised on an intentional farm no less - of carnivores!:o)
I'm for a counter point for these drums to use playing rumba and traditional styles...
