I've been working on a tumba shell now for about 16 months. I bought this drum thru a contact online and finally got around in getting the metal refinish. I now have just about everything to start putting her back together and figure I'll show off the top metal refinish by Sheffiled Plating in Fort Lauderdale ( 954 565-0162 3581 NW 9th ave, Oakland Park FL )

I'll add photos of my shell once my side plate screws come in and continual exhibit as these are put together.

I'm working on this particular drum to accompany the 2 beautiful Gon Bop that I bought from Dario aboute a 1.5 ago, and plan to check out some of his other Gon Bop soon ( Dario I'll be calling you next ).

Cool: I have a Gon Bop's quinto since the late 70's with that rim. Can't wait to see the finish product.

You know of any sources for hooks that are duplicate of the original hooks? Right now that's the missing link to my project. I'm still searching for the right hooks in length.
