Gon-Bop re do by the Great Cali Rivera

Hello all, Cali just finished re-doing this Gon-Bops requinto for me. It's a 9.5" head and he just put a wicked mule skin on it, I'm happier than a pig in s__t.

Ray mi hermano, the Requinto looks BEAUTIFUL, the 5 bands Cali put on it sets it apart from other Gon Bop congas. I will be up next week to see you and Cali.

Yes it does look very nice as long as you plan to keep it,... for re-sale purpose Cali took away its authenticitity, as Gon Bops only came with 4 bands.

Hi Oslongo,
In Cali's defense, I insisted on the bands, to match my drums from Junior, and I'm not re-selling this gem. I now have a complete set to do rumbas with others and all they have to do is bring themselves. I'm going to have the other Gon-Bops in the background the same way as soon as I get some bucks, being unemployed sucks, but at least playing a rumba every now and then kinda settles me down.
